Active Adventure

The week-long LIFEJACKET ADVENTURES kayak expeditions are based either on Vis Island, with visits to Bisevo Island and Hvar Island included, or travel from Korcula to Dubrovnik.

Traditional boats are used in support of the tours - acting as both an interesting way to introduce local maritime history and as 'under-the-stars' sleeping platforms.

Typical Day

A typical day involves activities such as hiking, kayaking or swimming, followed by excellent Dalmatian cooking, washed down with the best local wines. Lectures by archaeologists, art-historians or architects are always included to explain the long local history.

Age range, type of group

All ages and group sizes are welcome on our adaptable tours. We work with small groups as we are not into promoting mass tourism.

Sleeping and meals

Accommodation is either in 4-star local apartments or camping on local beaches.Seafood is at the centre of most meals - fish such as sardines and eel or squid, cooked in a variety of ways.
