Hiking, climbing, ghost towns, wildlife viewing, swimming, back road sightseeing, wild horses, kid friendly domestic animals. And of course there is star gazing and just plain quiet relaxation. Horseback riding and hot-air balloon rides available for an extra charge. We are in the Range and Basin area of central Nevada. Hot springs, mountain peaks, wild horses, elk deer and antelope. Indian petroglyphs, ghost towns and working cattle ranches are all in our back yard. The Pony Express is just to our north.

A typical day is what you want it to be. I will guide you on any adventure you want or you are free to head out on your own.

We are family and group oriented. All ages are welcome, but young children need close supervision. We live remotely and it is 180 miles to the nearest hospital.


We have a modern log ranch home with all amenities and a rehabilitated stone stage stop, your choice. we also enjoy "sleeping" under the stars. Located at 7,200ft elevation, our days are never too hot and our evenings are pleasantly cool. Meals are wholesome home cooked food served family style. Special diets and likes are taken into consideration. You won't be disappointed.

We do not allow smoking in the buildings or our vehicles, but we don't mind smokers. We have cats, dogs, goats and horses. Our place is clean and our animals are kid friendly, but if you have serious animal allergies you won't be happy here.

We are perhaps one of the most remote homes in the United States. It is 60 miles to the nearest store of any kind. We do have satellite internet for those needing to check in with the "outside" world.
