In the Moosehead Lake Region, there are innumerable activities for those who enjoy nature and the outdoors. Wilsons on Moosehead Lake is located in the heart of the region-the perfect location to do everything...or nothing at all. Enjoy snowmobiling, ice-fishing, skiing, four-wheeling, hiking, bird watching, moose safaris, fishing, hunting, bike riding, swimming, boating, sight seeing...all from your very own cottage. If you're coming to get away from it all, relax and read a book by the fireplace and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

We offer fully equipped lakefront cottages on the shore of Moosehead Lake, Maine and the East Outlet of the Kennebec River. Each cottage has a great view from its screened porch overlooking the lake and surrounding mountains. We provide just about everything you need including dishes, pots/pans, stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, linens and towels. You pretty much only need to worry about your food. Our spacious cottages provide lots of room inside and out. We have firepits, picnic tables, charcoal grills, volleyball net, basketball hoop, horse shoes, and lots of lawn space for the kids to play soccer, wiffle ball or ride bikes-perfect for mom and dad to relax and enjoy their vacation.

Sleeps & # of Bedrooms

Our cottages range from 1-5 bedrooms with 1-3 bathrooms. You can sleep anywhere from 1-20 and then some if you book multiple cottages. Wilsons is the perfect destination for large groups traveling together or enjoying weddings, family reunions or the like.

Amenities

All cottages have a full bath with shower, fully equipped kitchen, screened porch and we provide the linens and towels. Some of our cottages have satellite TV, fireplace, or wood stove.

Services Offered

These are housekeeping cottages. Meal plans and daily room services available by request certain times of the year.

Restrictions

Pets are welcome with prior approval only for a charge of $10/night. We do have strict pet policies, so please mention you will be travelling with a pet when making your reservation.

Directions

Once in Greenville, continue on Rt 15 north heading toward Rockwood (take a left in the center of town). We are located about 12 miles from there on the West Side of Moosehead Lake. If you go over a bridge, you've gone too far. This bridge crosses the Kennebec River and our driveway follows the River to its headwaters known as the East Outlet Dam. Our village of cottages spans the shore of Moosehead Lake.
