Koa Wood Hale

Welcome to Koa Wood Hale! We have separate female and male dorms, plus four private rooms with queen-sized beds. Avail of our 3 kitchens and 3 bathrooms on site. Enjoy our High speed internet & wireless, bicycle hire, coin-operated laundry on-site, ocean view sun deck with BBQ and hammock.

We are a great place to stay with a chill, relax atmosphere and helpful staff. Our accommodation includes dorm rooms, single privates, double privates, and deluxe suites. We have two internet stations, free wi-fi, free parking, common T.V. rooms with cable and DVD players, laundry facilities, hammocks, rocking chairs, picnic tables, beach loungers, a great sundeck, a bustling fishpond with waterfall, and our own 'black sand beach' and lava rock play area.

5 p.m. - 10 p.m. (checkins)
Checkins before 5pm available for small surcharge, or complimentary baggage storage. Late check-ins are not accepted due to our Quiet Times and residential neighborhood.

Directions

Eight miles south of Kailua Kona airport, turn west (down the hill) on Henry Street. At the bottom of the hill, (Kuakini Street) turn left and stay in the left hand land. Two lights ahead (very short distance) is the light for Kalani Street. There is a McDonalds fast food restaurant at this intersection. Turn left and go up the hill to the second left (Ala Hou Street). Go a short distance, maybe 100 meters, and turn right on Ala Ona Ona Street. We are the third house on the right. Two story building with wooden deck, large palm trees in planter pots. At night look for the tiki torches. Office is the first unit on the ground floor. Take off your shoes and come on in!
