Archipelago Hostel Old Town

Archipelago Hostel Old Town in Stockholm is the ultimate place to stay during your visit in Stockholm.

Most of the historical sites and attraction are within walking distance like Royal Palace, the Nobel Museum, the City Hall and the ferry to Djurgården/Skansen.

Archipelago Hostel at Stora Nygatan 38 is located in the medieval part of Stockholm, the Old Town in a building from 1746.

We have a capacity of 43 beds and can offer accommodation from single - twin -, triple,-and four bedded rooms.

Our dormitory is either for 4 or 6 people and very popular for people backpacking.

Our twin rooms and the three beds rooms are not provided with bunk beds

All beds are supplied with a duvet and a pillow. Bed linen and towels are available at the reception for hire 65 sek/pers incl a towel one time fee) or alternatively you can bring your own. Please note that either way bed linen must be used.

In the guest’s kitchen you have micro, coffee maker, water boiler, cooker, glasses, plate where you can make your own breakfast or heat up your lunch or dinner if you prefer.

The Hostel is open 365 days a year and there are no curfews or lock-out.
Groups are welcome to book with us as well.

Check out: 11.00 (11 am)

The reception is open every day of the week from
9.00 - 11.00 / 15.00 -18.00
(9 am - 11 am / 3 pm - 6 pm)

If you check-in after 18.00 (6pm) please email or phone us for an entry code.
You will receive the contact information upon booking.

Cancellation policy:
If a reservation is cancelled with less than 48 hours notice before 6 pm (unless advice otherwise) prior to the arrival date, the amount charged will be equivalent to the total amount of the first night's reservation.

Walk from Central Station to Archipelago Hostel Old Town
From the main entrance at the Central Station take right on Vasagatan go across the bridge (Vasabron) straight ahead to Stora Nygatan it take about 10 min

Subway
Take the subway one stop from Central station to Gamla Stan walk straight ahead to Stora Nygatan 38

From Skavsta Airport
All the flights have direct transfer bus to Central Station in Stockholm, its take 1 hour and 20 min.



From Arlanda Airport

Take the Arlanda bus (flygbussarna) to the Central Station its take 40 min.

The train Arlanda Express to the Central Station its take 20 min
