One of our most important attributes (amongst many...) is our central location in the Blaauwberg area. We are only 2 min. walk away from the Blaauwberg Beachfront, from where you can enjoy the postcard view of Table Mountain.

Are you interested in learning to kite surf? Well Dolphin Beach is one of the best spots for this sport; and only 10min. walk from the guesthouse.

To find a restaurant close by will also not be a problem because Dolphin Inn are within 5 min. walk to more than 10 Beachfront restaurants in this very vibey area.

This is an excellent base from where to explore the many spectacular things to see and do in and around Cape Town. Only 20 km from the Cape Town City Centre, 40 km from the Airport, 20 km from the Cape Winelands and also the gateway to the beautiful unspoilt West Coast.


Our mission is to give you the best advice on all the exciting things to do in the Cape Town region.

Hiking, Climbing, Abseiling, Kite surfing, Sand boarding, Shark Cage Diving or whatever your interest are, we will put you in touch with the best professionals in the field.

And then after a long day of exploring the Cape you can come home to Dolphin Inn. A place where you can feel at home and put your feet up... Or take a dip in the pool or just have a chat with fellow travelers, sharing your experiences.

All our rooms have comfortable beds, either 2 single beds or a double bed and your own private bathroom.

Directions

From the airport, take the N2 in the direction of the City. Then take the M5 North to Milnerton.(Exit 9) Proceed straight, over the N1, keep on the left (DON'T TAKE THE RIGHT LANE WHICH SAY'S N1 PAARL) until you reach a set of traffic lights, this will be the start of Koeberg Road (M5) Stay in this road until you reach Boundary Rd. traffic lights. Turn left into Boundary Road & at the next set of traffic lights; turn right onto the R27 (also known as Otto du Plessis Rd/Marine Drive). Proceed straight along this road and don't turn off. This road runs closest & parallel to the Altantic Ocean. Stay on this road until you get to an intersection where the R27 crosses the M14 (Blaauwberg Rd). Before the Blaauwberg turn off you will pass Milnerton, Woodbridge Island with the lighthouse, Sunset Beach and then you will reach the Blaauwberg turn off traffic lights. Here you will turn left. The Protea Hotel - Dolphin Beach will be on your left. Proceed straight in Marine Drive with the Atlantic Ocean on your left. You turn right into Foam Road. This the 1st road after the traffic circle. After the 4 way stop, you will find us on the left. Foam Rd. No. 7, Bloubergrant.
