Hostel 6

Hostel 6 is a small hostel in the center of the medieval mining town of Banska Stiavnica, which was inscribed on the List of World Cultural and Natural Heritage of UNESCO. The Hostel is situated on the sloap above the main square, with a terrace overviewing all famous sights such as Trinity square, Old Castle, New Castle, Calvaria, Rose and Silver streets.

The Hostel building originates from the fifteenth century and offers great atmosphere of remodeled historical interiors and very comfortable rooms. All the facilities are new and the size of the hostel (only 15 beds) makes you feel at home. Our Common room and kitchen are fully equipped. In the garden there is a barbecue area with an awesome view and free parking.


Stiavnica offers great tourist attractions - more than 20 museums, many restaurants and bars, beautiful nature great for hiking, skiing, mountain lakes surrounded by virgin nature, 3 accessible mining shafts, horse ranches, 10 km spa town of Sklenne Teplice ....

Directions

By plane:
- Take a flight to Bratislava or Vienna - then take a bus or train to Banska Stiavnica.

By bus:
- direct bus from Bratislava bus station 5 times a day.

By Train:
- take the fast train to Hronska Dubrava (main railway), there change for mountain small railway with last stop Banska Stiavnica.

From bus stop and railway station:
- hitch dark red shuttle buses (0.5Euro) or taxi (1,5Euro) to center - next to famous teahouse Klopacka.
