Katherine's Guesthouse In Ivancea Village

FULL BOARD AND LODGING
We are located in the very centre of Moldova on the tourist trail to Orheiul Vechi settlement. Ivancea village is in the heart of Codry forest reservation, surrounded by plenty of lakes, many springs with drinking water and rich blacksoil fields planted with orchads and crops.

Katherine or Katya, how we call her, is a nice Ukranian woman in her 50s who was born and live in Ivancha. She has a big cosy house in the old part of the village that is always opened for friends and guests. Katya, doesn't speak English, but her daughter or granddaughter, that visit her often could assist and translate.

The house is large and has a summer kitchen, a finish sauna, a garage and a big wine cellar in the yard of the house. The house has 2 double rooms and one 3 bed dorm. There is also an old Ukranian stove in the anteroom that used as a big bed in the past and can sleep freely 3-4 people.


Brekfast, lunch and supper are included in the cost of the accommodation. We can also provide a lift by car from Chisinau and back.

Directions

Ivancha is a big village located in Orhei district 45 km north of Chisinau/Kishinev, 15 km east-south of Orhei town and on the way to wel known tourist destination Orheiul Vechi in Trebujeni / Butuceni villages.

Buses to IVANCEA depart from the CENTRAL BUS STATION in CHISINAU town.
Trip lasts about 30 minutes and costs about 1 EURO. For you
convenience you may take any of these 3 buses:

Chisinau - Branesti at 10:45 am
Chisinau - Furceni at 12:45 am
Chisinau - Trebujeni at 2 pm

The first two buses are very small with about 10 seats only. Make
sure you get 30 minutes before the departure in week days and 1 hour
in Friday and Saturday to get a seat.
