The Acres

The Acres B&B enjoys a coastal location in Minard East,part of the Dingle Peninsular and offers a warm welcome to guests through out the year.

Take a break and enjoy the beautiful views over The Ring of Kerry and Acres Point. The secluded Kilmurry Cove and beach plus the ancient castle of Minard are just 300 metres away from the B&B. The unique harbour town of Dingle, with the famous friendly dolphin 'Fungie' is just a 10 minute drive away.

The Acres B&B has three en-suite rooms, one being a large family room. We are currently setting up a studio to accommodate Painting Activities. This facility will be available all year round for workshops and taster sessions.

Directions

The nearest bus station is in Dingle.


From Kerry Airport (Farranfore)
Exit the airport turning left onto the main road. Turn left at the T junction onto the N22 after 300 yards turn right onto the R561at the junction signpost Castlemaine and Dingle (An Dangaine). Keep on this road passing through Fieries after 3Kms Turn right onto the N70 into Castlemaine and after crossing the river turn left onto the R561 in Castlemaine.
Stay on the R561 passing Inch Strand for 28 kms cross over the Annascal river and after 250 metres you will see a sign for the Acres B&B.Turn left and take this road for 3kms past several cottages.You will see the B&B in front of you as you come down the hill to the beach.Carry on past the castle up the hill for 150 metres and the Acres can be found on the left.

From Killarney
From Killarney take the N72 signpost to Killorglin for 3 Kms.Take the right turn to Milltown the R563 and after 18 kms follow the road through Milltown and join the N70.
After 3 kms turn left into Castlemaine N70 after crossing the river turn left onto the R561 signpost An Dangeon (Dingle) and follow the instructions above.


From Tralee
Take the N86 for Camp , after a further 15Kms passing Annascaul you will come to a `Y` junction, take the left turn N561 and after 100 metres miss a road joining from the right (N86)after another 100 metres take the right turn signposted to the Acres B&B.
Take this road for 3Kms past several small cottages be aware of stray sheep! You will see the B&B in front of you as you drive down the hill to the beach. Carry on past the castle and the Acres can be found on the left.
