
Ballylickey House home to four generations of the Graves Family, lies hidden among the rugged inlets of majestic Bantry Bay in south west Ireland. The 300 year old house, has the ambience of a beautiful family home, cherished and nurtured over centuries.
The idyllic and tranquil gardens reaching down towards the bay are an excellent way to spend an afternoon reading and relaxing. Nestling in the beautiful grounds not far from the house are a cluster of comfortable cottages which offer our guests cosy standard rooms or suites with their own sitting rooms and fireplaces. The rooms in the house offer our guests not only comfort, but the charm of an Irish country house, views overlooking the bay, the gardens and onto the Caha Mountains beyond.

Ballylickey House is an ideal centre to tour the beautiful south west of Ireland, or enjoy the various activities available such as golf, horse riding, hill walking, fishing, diving, sailing and many more. We will be happy to arrange any of the above for you. Ballylickey is situated only 3 miles from Bantry where they is a varied selection of top quality restaurants and bars.
Directions
Dublin to Cork:
Leave on the Naas road.
Take the N7 to Naas Co.Kildare
N7 to Portlaoise
N8 to Cashel, Cahir, Mitchelstown, Fermoy and onto Cork City.
From Cork City to Ballylickey:
Leave Cork City on the Main West Cork Route N71 to Bandon
Then Bandon R586 to Ballinneen, Enniskeen, Dunmanway, Drimoleague, pass through Bantry and exit on N71 for Glengarriff, Kenmare. Ballylickey is three miles from Bantry.

From Shannon to Ballylickey
Shannon to Limerick
Limerick to Patrickswell which is 10 miles from Limerick
At Patrickswell take main road to Cork N20 then exit Cork on N71 to Bandon then R586 through Dunmanway, Drimoleague, pass through Bantry, out on N71 to Glengarriff. Ballylickey is three miles from Bantry.
From Rosslare to Ballylickey
Rosslare to Wexford- N25 Newross- Waterford- Cork take the tunnel for west Cork. Then Bandon Dunmanway, Drimoleague- Bantry. Take the road for Kenmare . Ballylickey is 3 Miles from Bantry.
Note on arriving at Bandon do not take N71. But cross Bandon and Take road to Dunmanway.
