
Chandratal Lake Camp Retreat, Chandratal, Spiti Valley Chandratal Lake, also known as ‘Moon Lake’ is one of the most beautiful & spectacular lakes in the Indian subcontinent. Set on a large meadow between lower ridge and main Kunzum range , it offers excellent views of Mulkila mountain range and Samudra Tapu Glacier. The color of water keeps changing through out the day from reddish to orange to blue to emerald green as day passes.
Chandratal Lake Camp Retreat comprises of comfortable 15 trekking tents such as colourful Swiss cottage tents housing a sitting area with comfortable chairs and tables, a 4- bed sleeping area & attached bathroom with running water taps + basins & western toilets. Cosy beds padded with colourful linen & quilts complete your sojourn! Electric supply to the camp is available at all times.And yes! The canopy of the star–studded sky too offers clear visibility as dusk sets in.
We also have toilet tents with hot water as well as a dining tent & a complete kitchen tent offering a variety of Indian, Chinese & Continental cuisines amidst an amazingly informal atmosphere. Price inclusive of bed tea, breakfast,lunch,evening tea & dinner
