Teaching English as a second language to Korean students.
Previous experience is not required, however, you will need a university degree (bachelors level or greater ) in any discipline to obtain a legal work visa.
Typical Day
Arrive at the school, prepare you lessons plans for the day and begin teaching English!
Westerners are only responsible for teaching 5-6 hours each day.
Age range, type of group
K1 through adults. You can choose which age groups you prefer working with.
Sleeping and meals
Furnished accommodation are paid for by the school you work for. Free return airfare is also provided.
Restrictions
No smoking at the schools. Teachers are free to do as they please during their free time.
Rates
This is a legitimate paying job. As an English teacher in Korea you can expect to make $2000 - $3500USD each month, depending on your qualifications.
Please note: Airfare to and from Korea is paid for by the school and you'll be provided with a furnished apartment during the duration of your contract. Therefore saving lots of money in Korea is highly possible.
