Borneo Global Sipadan Backpackers is located in Semporna, situated in the east coast of Sabah, Malaysia on the island of Borneo. We are within walking distance to Banks, Seafood restaurants and Entertainment outlets. Just a stone throw away from the Jetty to all Islands
We offer daily dive and snorkeling trips to Sipadan, Mabul, Kapalai or Tun Sakaran Marine Park within the Celebes Sea to explore the macro and pelagic underwater marine life.
Our professional dive guide and dedicated staffs will ensure our guests have a safe and wonderful diving holiday with us.
There is a whole range of diving equipments at our dive centre available for rental if our guests preferred not to travel with heavy luggage.
We also offer scuba diving courses from beginner level to professional level. Our courses are conducted mainly around the reefs near Semporna, Kapalai, Mabul or Tun Sakaran Marine Park in the Celebes Sea.
Typical Day
Sabah has an equatorial climate. Temperatures rarely rise above 32°C (90°F) except on exceptionally hot days, and along the coastal areas rarely drop below 20°C (68°F) at night. In the interior and at higher altitudes it can get quite cold at night. Relative humidity is usually 85-95%. Rainfall is common throughout the year.
In most parts of Sabah the wetter period occurs during the North East Monsoon from October to February and the drier season during the South West Monsoon from March to September.Other Information
