The arts festival and shopping was great. The hare and hound cottage was delightful private and the Toccoa River was so much fun for our Golden Retiever Peppie. We are planning another stay later this yera.x

A gated community which makes it private and quiet. Short walk to the Toccoa River and beautiful scenery. Love the grotto bath! Wonderful retreat for adults or families with older children. We love horse back riding in the mountains and there are several stables nearby.

Cottage on a pond 5 minute walk to Toccoa River for Fishing,Canoeing, pleasure ride. Trails, mountain views, private fun. Fully equiped kitchen, grill, linens provided. One bedroom, cottage sleeps 4, one bath with soaker tub and shower. You can kick back and relax or play games on the front porch for days. Blue Ridge Ga. just 10 minutes away. Dish TV, VCR, Games, family movies provided. Close to horse rides, shopping, restraunts. Check internet for Cahutta's, Raffting Adventures Lake Blue Ridge and Nottley close by . Located in Riverwalk on the Toccoa safe gated community check web for community opportunities.

Screened back porch and front veranda lots of windows and view. Located on a Pond. The community includes old loging trails to walk, the Toccoa River with in walking distance. Private community pavilion can be rented for special events, on the river. This property is a cottage very private with loft bedroom the cottage was renovated inside and has a new kitchen and bath. This home brings back the meeing of pieceful old timey fun. Games and Poker table provided.

This cottage has a single unique Bathroom and bedroom,Total inside remodled in the past year, this place has been an on going work of art. Speaking of art we provide canvas, clay and paints to leave a little of you behind make us a painting or scuplture. This will get you out of the box of everyday city life. Your art will be displayed as decoration in our cottage.

Services Offered

Message in home is avaliable from in town. Many places in town to do catered gourmet meals. Best meat market in Ga Enchated Monuntain, Morginton, just 20 minute ride. Mercer Apples just out of town, bait shop at Marrathon Station on Hwy 60. Golf on the way in Ellijay N. in Hiwassiee Great Theater in town local tallent. Close to Carters Lake, Lake Blue Ridge, and Lake Nottley all for great fishing,water sports with marina to rent pontoons, jet skies. These lakes are very never crowded.

Restrictions

No Smoking Small pets allowed under 50 lbs with pet deposit. This property is suited to couples, max 2, fishing parties of max 4 to 5 depenting on gender and due to soaker tub best for people that are not restricted due to back problem, knees, and are able to step down into a tub to shower and bath.

Rates & Availability

Rate range depending on dates $125.00 to $185.00 per night. Deposit is required for advanced booking, and pet deposit with a per day charge for pets. We do take sort or long term bookings. Clean up charges in additon to daily rates. Special rates for monthly guest available.

The Haire and Hound Cottage is our home and we choose to share it with a select few guest each year. Many years of collecting & work, have gone in to this Cottage and it is ever changing. We Love our Cottage and expect our friend and guest to honer it as we do so it can be offered for everyones fun, and to share the Love it give for years to come.

Directions

75 North to Hwy 515 to Blue Ridge Ga, turn right at the first light by the bank, go past the BP Service Station take next left, first left by Feed Store ADA Street turn left, follow about 6 miles to Curtis Switch 4 way Stop go right cross over Rail Road, then Toccoa River Third Street on the left is Mercuary Lane turn leftthis is a dirt road follow it about 1.5 mile to stop sign cross over stop to gate opener Code will be provided by phone. This Road is Cross Creek turn right and follow untill you see round about and signs directing you to Pavillion just past round about you will bair left over the pond and you have arrived.

Discounts Offered

Discounts for monthly rental. We do not charge you for pets unless you bring pets. We provide all paper products, and linens, towels for kitchen and bath. Basic condiments like salt, pepper, jams, jellies, arshmellows & popcorn provided. The kitchen will have 1 twelve pack of beer and 2 bottles of wine 1 red and 1 white provided this is a value of $100.00 in your price. 2 Gallons of spring water will be provided. Economy rental does not include beverage package.
