Guided options include day tours, multi-day camping expeditions and coming in 2010 Powell River Sea Kayak's new "Chill and Immerse in Desolation". For Chill and Immerse, guests will stay at Powell River Sea Kayak's private site in the heart of Desolation Sound. This new tour provides the perfect combination of comfort, amenities, ambiance, experiences and West Coast British Columbia sea kayaking – at an affordable price!

Typical Day

The wildlife, scenery and idyllic sea kayaking fulfill many guests expectations. However, Powell River Sea Kayak goes well beyond this by enhancing the entire experience with great food, naturalist guides, and added activities such as snorkeling in waters teeming with colourful Sea Stars, Spiny Urchins, Sea Cucumbers and so much more!

All tours include kayaks and equipment of the highest quality and many added products to ensure a safe
and comfortable experience throughout.

Sleeping and meals

On camping tours, Powell River Sea Kayak provides high-end tents and comfy thermarest sleeping pads.

Accommodation on Chill and Immerse in Desolation is in private cabana-style tents complete with comfy air-beds, cozy bedding and a private sitting area. Each Cabana is located on it's own wooden platform. Hammocks are located in key areas overlooking the ocean.

On all tours, the food is fresh, local, well planned and often evokes flattering quotes from guests.

Camping tours start at $395 Canadian per person for a 2 day tour and $745 for 4 days.
Chill and Immerse tours start at $895 per person for a 4 day tour.
Day tours start at $109 and include lunch.
Multi-day tours include all meals, non-alcoholic beverages and all kayaking
and camping gear.
