Not only are the best wines available here, but there are many gourmet eateries that use local produce in their menues.Barossa Country Cottages at Lyndoch are tucked away among shady gums in an Australian bush garden setting in this quiet, rural location, yet they are close to the heart of the Barossa Valley. They have been a landmark in Lyndoch since 1992.Historic Lyndoch, “The Village of Wine and Roses” is an ideal place from which to experience the Barossa Valley and environs, with its many wineries, restaurants, landscapes, heritage buildings and other attractions.

Our Cottages are self contained, comfortable and spacious, an excellent place to relax and enjoy the tranquility, bird life and clean country air.De-luxe Jacaranda Cottage has 2 queen size bedrooms and can accommodate up to 4 persons. This cottage also has a cosy wood fire in the lounge/dining area. Superior Geranium Cottage has a queen size bedroom, a twin bedroom and a sofabed in the lounge. It can accommodate up to six people.The front verandah overlooks a pleasant shaded garden full of Australian bird life

We are happy to assist with bookings for airport transfers, special day tours and chauferred winery tours. We can provide local tourist maps and information and make reservations for dinner, beauty salons, massages etc.We also have available pre-paid accommodation gift vouchers, which make a lovely gift for an anniversary, birthday or mothers day, or simply as a special thank you.

Restrictions

Pets are welcome, but are not permitted insde the cottages. A fenced area with a kennel and bedding is provided. Pets are permitted to run in the garden provided they are under the control of a respnsible adult. We expect and appreciate that guests clean up after their pets.

The easiest way to make a reservation is to contact us by e-mailing the completed Reservation Form on our wesite. By giving us the information, you help us give to give you a better service.You can also make a reservation by telephone, fax or post. The booking form provides a convenient information format.To confirm your reservation, please forward a 50% deposit, preferably by credit card, otherwise by bank cheque or money/postal order, at the time of making the reservation. We are unable to hold unconfirmed reservations for more than 2 days, unless otherwise arranged. The balance is payable on the day of your arrival, except when the date of arrival is within 7 days of reservation being made, in which case the full amount is to be paid, when making the reservation.We accept all major cards:Visa - Mastercard - Bankcard - Amex - Diners. By giving us your credit card details, you authorise us to withdraw such funds from your account as are required to settle your bill. Our Privacy Statement on our website sets out the details of how we use the information provided to us by you.

Directions

The Cottages are located 55 kms North West of Adelaide and Adelaide Airport, 14 kms from Gawler and from Tanunda, and only 800 metres from the Lyndoch village centre. It is 100 kms to the Clare Valley and only an hour’s drive to the Adelaide Hills, Hahndorf and the Riverland. Whether you approach Lyndoch from Gawler, Tanunda or Williamstown and the hills,turn into Gilbert St at the Lyndoch crossroads and travel 800 metres. The property is opposite Jollytown Rd and is well sign posted.
