Candelária nestles in the hills of the Algarve, in the small village of Monte Seco.The B&B is perfectly situated for those who enjoy hiking and the beauty of nature, or those who are just seeking a tranquil retreat away from the busy world.In the village there are several typical tavernas and one of them has a small grocery shop.The surroundings are abundant in almond, olive, fig and carob trees and the small river, the Ribeira d´Algibre, is close by.The countryside offers many possibilities such as photography and painting with the oppertunity to visit other lovely places, such as Salir, Querença, Alte and Loulé.Faro airport is 30 kms, Loulé 11 kms, Albufeira 20 kms and the most nearby beach is 18 kms away from Monte Seco.

Accommodations

Candelária is a special choice for those who appreciate something different. It´s a lovely, renovated traditional house which is connected to the house of an elderly portuguese couple.The garden has a big terrace, a bbq and some fruit trees.On the first floor is a large living room with an open kitchen area. The kitchen has a gas cooker, oven, microwave, coffee machine, refrigerator and kitchen utensils. On the same floor there is a roofterrace with beautifull views over the valley.

Rooms/Suites

There are 4 bedrooms, each with twin beds and 1 family room which has a double bed and one three quater bed, suitable for one adult or two children.Each bedroom has it´s own private bathroom with shower, wc and washbasin.

Low season:Double room: 39 euro per night.Family room: 59 euro per night.High season (July and August):Double room: 45 euro per night.Family room: 65 euro per night.Breakfast: 6 euro per person per day.For a stay of one or two nights we charge 10 euro extra for each room each night.Facilities of the kitchen: for using the gascooker and the oven we charge 4 euro for preparing a meal.Cot and children chair: 15 euro per stay.
