Located in the heart of Valencia city centre, in an important street close to the Turia's riverbed (the biggest park in town). Just a few minutes walk from the city´s most interesting cultural and architectural sights (Cathedral, Basilic, Plaza de la Reina, City Council Square, Barrio del Carmen...), well connected to the beach, the train station, the old city, the City of Arts and Sciencies and the best places to go out, from traditional 'tapas' bars to the hippest nightlife.

The Purple Nest is the best place for backpackers to enjoy Valencia this summer. Don't worry about the heat!! Rooms have Airco that works in the night (from 00.00 til 11.00) We are very close to different(indoor) swimming pools in the city and just a few meters away from the bus stop to the beach, and in our hostel you won't suffer the high temperatures, thanks to our air conditioning system, which make us the most refreshing hostel in Valencia this summer!!

We have dorms with 4, 6, 8 and 10 beds and private rooms of 2, 3 and 4. All our big rooms are dorms: male, female or mixed. Big clean communal (single sex) big bathrooms are located on each floor. All our rooms have air-conditioning to help you sleep well during the hot Valencian summer. Check out time is at 11:00 AM and check-in is anytime after 1:00 PM.

Our hostel has an easy, laidback atmosphere with warm and helpful staff on hand to help steer you to the beaches, bars, sites and sounds of Valencia and get you anything you need including free city maps and info and reservations for walking tours and bike rental.

Our Bar offers you the chance to meet people from all over the world, have a couple of the cheapest pints in town and enjoy the great atmosphere that the Valencian night produces.

Directions

Superbly located just a few minutes walk from the Central railway station (Estación del Norte) and nearby “Xátiva Metro station” with links to the airport. Check your itinerary to get to the hostel at: www.google.map (“russafa youth hostel valencia”)

From the Bus Station: take bus number 79 and get off at the corner between Marques del Turia and Germanias. Take ruzafa street, the third cross-road to the right, in front of a church is the Hostel. From the airport: take the underground up to Xativa's stop, arrives to the Central Train Station (Estación del Norte), go to the right to Ruzafa street, and go on until the cross-road with Gran Via Germanias, crosses and continue by Ruzafa street, the third crossroad to the right, in a pedestrian zone in front of a church (Iglesia de San Valero), meet the russafa Youth Hostel.
