Welcome to Auberge de Jeunesse de Champlon. The Champlon Youth Hostel nestles in the forests of the Ardennes - an ideal location for nature-lovers and for cross-country skiing throughout the winter.

Situated between the large touristic centres of Marche en Famenne, Saint Hubert, La Roche en Ardenne, Houffalize and Bastogne, the Champlon/Tenneville and Ortho region caters for a rural tourism that never lacks in charm and peacefulness. One can expect to find pastoral, agricultural and forest surroundings. The presence of one of the largest forests in Belgium (the Freyr forest) enabled the return of the black stork. Its surroundings allow for walking trips and hiking. Magnificent cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails can be discovered in the winter months.

Directions

From Namur take the N4 from Namur to Arlon and come off at the Champlon exit. Parking spaces are available at the youth hostel.

Bus number 1 from Marloie station. The bus stops just 300 metres from the youth hostel. Please note there are only 2 buses daily and no buses on a Saturday. Check the timetable

The 'Transardennaise' route runs just 500 metres from the youth hostel.
