Shandrani Hotel is surrounded by exotic tropical gardens and has three private beaches offering a sparkling lagoon with wide sandy beach, a water sports beach and a natural beach for those seeking seclusion. As well as the main swimming pool there is a separate children’s pool. Younger guests can also enjoy the mini-club with activities including crab hunting, henna hand tattooing and t-shirt painting.

Shandrani Hotel, Blue Bay, features 327 air-conditioned guestrooms spread over three floor. Decor reflects the colours of the island, in shades of red and sandy beige with floral print fabrics, potted plants, art works depicting Mauritian crafts, tiled floors, and locally-crafted wooden furniture. Framed by exotic flowers, sea facing balconies or terraces lead onto the beach. Amenities include satellite TV, direct-dial phones, tea and coffee making facilities, safes and minibars with complimentary water and soft drinks.

Grand Port Restaurant - Open-air restaurant featuring split level terraces overlooking the sea. Full American buffet breakfast and international dinner buffet including Italian, Indian, Creole and oriental dishes, inspired by the cultural diversity of Mauritius.
Le Sirius Restaurant - Open-plan restaurant set by the pool; serving international cuisine overlooking the Blue Bay lagoon. Light menu served. Mauritian curries a speciality. Samples dishes include Swordfish Vindaloo served with Fragrant Rice and Red Beans. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Porto Vecchio Restaurant - Rustic Mediterranean decor with rough stone walls, wrought iron furnishings, terracotta fabrics, and jars of pickled Italian vegetables and Mediterranean condiments. Sample dishes include Fresh Tuna with Citrus Salad and Peppered Prawns. Open daily for lunch and dinner.
Le Boucanier Restaurant - Marine themed Mediterranean décor with stone walls adorned with ships wheels and pillars flanked by rigging ropes. Sample menu dishes include Silver Sea Bream Fillet cooked in Bamboo with Soy sauce, Coriander and Ginger, and Pork Pâté with Green Lentils and Sliced Lobster Tail. Open daily for dinner.
Blue Bay Bar - Circular main bar with carved ceiling, wooden furnishings and subtle lighting. Live music performed every night.
Le Sirius Bar - With heavy teak furniture, this bar is adjacent to Le Sirius Restaurant, facing the Blue Bay lagoon.


The spa and wellness centre includes a gym, intimate open-air massage treatment rooms, and therapy areas with private hot tubs. Beauty and hairdressing services are available as well as a spa tub, sauna and steam room (surcharges).

At night the hotel hosts live music and entertainment including Indian, African and Cuban nights, fashion shows and traditional Mauritian shows.

The hotel offers an extensive range of water and land excursions, including outdoor activities such as mountain biking, abseiling, canoeing and hiking with experience guides (surcharges), organised in partnership with the Mauritius Wildlife Foundation.

Guests can enjoy free access to six floodlit tennis courts, volleyball and football courts, and a nine-hole pitch and putt golf course. Beginners can practice their swing in free group lessons. Other group classes include tennis and windsurfing. At the beach complimentary water sports include water skiing, windsurfing, sailing, organised snorkelling trips, kayaking and pedal boats. For a surcharge guests can enjoy the kite-surfing school, sailing club and scuba diving.

*Cancellation Policy: If you cancel your reservation at least 10 days prior to arrival Vital International Services will refund the amount charged by them when the booking was confirmed minus 10% of the total payment.
No show or Cancel 10 days prior to arrival date to avoid penalty of 100 Percent of Stay.

*Upon confirmation, non-refundable deposit of 10%will be immediately charged to your credit card Vital International Services will deduct 10% from your total and charge the balance 90% to your credit card upon confirmation.
