The Rachel Hotel is ideally situated in the centre of Aghia Marina in the Beautiful Island of Aegina just 15 miles from the main Greek Port of Piraeus/Athens. Located on the sandy beach, close to the Port of Aghia Marina and within walking distance of the main resort facilities and shopping areas.

By choosing to stay at Hotel Rachel you have the opportunity to combine a peaceful and enjoyable island holiday with a visit to the great and historic monuments and sights of Aegina and Athens.

Directions

Take the Piraeus Express bus, every 20 mins from the new Athens airport to Piraeus Port. Very frequent ferries (1 hour 15 mins travel time) and flying dolfins (35 mins travel) and catamarans (1 hour travel) from Piraeus to Aegina island. Aegina is the first island out of Piraeus.

The hotel is situated on the main sea front 20m from the beach. On arrival at the harbour walk left for 2 mins and you will be at Hotel Plaza which is the main reception also for Hotel Christina and Hotel Ulrika.

Hotel Plaza is part of a small family run business of 3 hotels. All three hotels work out of the main reception at Hotel Plaza (at Kazantzaki 4), this works well because they are all in close proximity.
