GALLA PLACIDIA'S position is well-suited for touring the city on foot or by bicycle, available free of charge from the tourist agency: you're just seconds away from the Basilica of San Vitale, the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia, the National Museum, the beautiful city center with its elegant shopping, Piazza del Popolo - the hub of the city, the characteristic refined candle-lit bistrot, the renowned Ca' de Ven where you can combine excellent vintage Sangiovese wine with typical local food.

GALLA PLACIDIA is situated on two floors of a very large semi-detached house, with ample space and comfortable surroundings. Three rooms are available, all fitted with air-conditioning and private bathroom. All the rooms have a different character, they are spacious, tastefully furnished and welcoming.
One of the rooms, which can be classified almost as a suite, has a 20 sq. m. terrace offering a splendid view of the old city roofs and the bell tower of San Vitale.

Your stay is personally supervised by the owner, who is willing to provide you with information on events in the city, cultural tours and culinary excursions.
The kitchen is open for buffet breakfast from 8,00 to 9,30.
The typical Italian breakfast consists of various hot and cold drinks, yogurt, home-made marmalades, local cakes, croissant, crackers, white and wholemeal bread, pizze, fruit salad, cereals.
