City Lounge Hostel is the the first and only design hostel in Riga, located in completely renovated more than 100 years old apartment in heart of Riga city, owned and managed by a tourism related family.

LOCATION
Excellent location - small and quiet street in a prestige historical center of Riga, few steps from Railway station, Central Bus station and main tourist attraction - Old Riga. IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL VISITORS - we are on the top floor of an old building and there is no elevator! If you have a lot of luggage our staff will help with getting it upstairs, just call the bell downstairs and ask for help. But ... the top floor guarantees fresh air, calm sleep and sunny rooms in the heart of Riga city.
FACILITIES

Safe and comfortable rooms each in different design influenced by the metropolis of the world. Each room has a smart card access, boxes or racks with padlock for your personal belongings. Central hostel safe is at the reception for all of your valuables. And specially designed beds equipped with the best mattresses on the market for comfy and healthy sleep. We have a Family room - one double bed and a bunk bed, if You wish to make a reservation for this room pls book a DBL room with shared bathroom and send us a short note in mail, it`s extra 25,-Eur to room price.
In case You are not in a mood for going out or the weather is awful you can have an excellent time at our place - huge plasma TV, cable television and collection of DVD, karaoke, Egyptian water-pipe, PlayStation with a great variety of games, football table( You can always challenge the receptionist, if You want to feel a bit like looser after that :D ), table games or just have a nice chat with other guests.
And by the way - if You hear someone talking about a trendy kitchen in Latvia - it`s about our kitchen! Allegedly it is the best hostel kitchen in Latvia fully equipped with cups, bowls, pans, fridge, microwave, oven!

Directions

A few steps away from Riga Railway station, International Bus Terminal and Airport Bus stop.

FROM THE AIRPORT:
- take the bus Nr.22, get off at the stop shopping center Stockmann', go to the direction of the Riga Big Ben, alias tall building with a clock on the top, then cross the station square until you reach the traffic lights.
- cross the street, reach the second traffic light in front of you and cross marijas street, turn right and in about 100 meters turn left on a small street and you are there. Approximate walking time 6 minutes.

FROM THE BUS TERMINAL:
- walk out of the bus station, cross the street in front of you, turn left, round the corner you`ll see shopping center Stockmann, go past it to the direction of the Riga Big Ben, alias tall building with a clock on the top, then cross the station square, until you reach the traffic lights.
- cross the street, reach the second traffic light in front of you and cross marijas street, turn right, and in about 100 meters turn left on a small street and you are there. Approximate walking time 7 minutes.

FROM THE RAYLWAY STATION:
- walk out of the station, cross the station square, until you reach the traffic lights, cross the street, reach the second traffic light in front of you and cross marijas street.
- turn right, and in about 100 meters turn left on a small street and you are there. Approximate walking time 3 minutes.
