Family-run, we offer a great base from which to explore the beautiful Toledo District with easy access to town, the Cayes, and the inland attractions -- including cave swimming at Blue Creek, and the Maya sites of Lubaantun and Nim Li Punit.


Wake up to the sounds of the jungle, and freshly brewed coffee on your verandah, cool off in our jungle 'plunge pool', explore over a mile of jungle trails and view the birdlife. Dine on-site at Charlie's Bar - our plentiful home cooked meals use ingredients grown on our farm and fresh, seasonal produce from our local market.

Our cottages are comfortably furnished with local hardwood furniture, private bathroom, ceiling fans and a cozy sitting area.

PLEASE NOTE: The property operates on a 72-hours cancellation policy. Dinner is not available on Wednesday evenings - chef's night off! An additional 9% government hotel tax applies. Our property is powered by a combination of solar power and generator, and power supply is limited overnight.

Directions

Free transfers are available from the local airport, and the customs dock, and a 5% discount is available on Tropic Air flights.

For those guests arriving by car, follow Front Street through town, past the Police Station, the market area, the school, and then turn right just past Peter Claver Parish Church. Turn next left onto Main Street and follow the road past the hospital, where it bears right and becomes Cemetery Lane. Proceed for 2 blocks and, at the small children's park, take a 'half-left' into Ex-Servicemen Road (signposted Boom Creek and Moho River). Hickatee Cottages can be found a mile further on the left-hand side.
