Residence Santa Chiara

The Bed&Breakfast Residence Santa Chiara is an ancient bourgeois house built in the second half of the 16th century, in the historical center of Lucca inside the medieval boundaries. It is located in front of the suggestive gardens of Bottini Villas, once residence of Elisa Bonaparte. From the Residence, you can easily reach all the principal historical attractions of the old city in a few minutes and all other the beauties of Tuscany.
The residence offers a pleasant vacation with comfort and relaxation in an enchanting atmosphere from the medieval charm.
Restructured in January 2006, the Residence is composed of a principal block with all rooms with a private bathroom and air-conditioning and a dependance.
From may to september, it will be possible to have delicious breakfast buffet in the little new garden.

Directions

If you are arriving by train, you can easily reach us on foot in about ten minutes from the railway station, or alternatively you may take a taxi. If you come walking, enter the town of Lucca passing from Porta Elisa, then turn right into Via Bacchettoni and then the first left into Via Brunero Paoli. At the end of the street, in the corner with Via S.Chiara, you will see our Residence.
By Car:
Highway exit at Lucca; follow the signs to the centre and the railway station (stazione); from here, keeping the town walls on the left, take the road around the walls and after the first bend, turn on the left and enter Lucca through the white town gate called Porta Elisa. Then turn right into Via Bacchettoni and then the first left into Via Brunero Paoli. At the end of the street, in the corner with Via S.Chiara, you will see our Residence.
