Complete "Bait and Switch" DO NOT STAY HERE if you are not part of a large Tour group! This "resort" (HA!) is designed for elderly tour groups, not individuals or families on vacation. The room we book was not consistent with what we were given. ... more

Description - Mckinley Chalet Resort


Description


McKinley Chalet Resort is located approximately half a mile from Denali National Park and Preserve and 120 miles from Fairbanks International Airport. The resort occupies several acres of spruce forest on the banks of the Nenana River and three miles from Denali National Park Visitor Center. Hotel amenities include the Nenana View Grill (with river views and fresh Alaskan cuisine), Courtyard Cafe, massage services, bicycle rentals, and complimentary local transportation. All rooms feature coffeemakers, satellite TV, complimentary toiletries, hairdryers, free local calls, and separate sitting areas with sofa beds.
