The Hotel Moderno is located just 200 meters away from Porta Ovile and just in front of the new escalator to the Church of San Francesco, in the historic center of Siena. It was established in 1954 and since then has been run by the Pagni family. The hotel is open all year around and gives the individual visitor, or indeed a group, a mid range accommodation. The Hotel provides a bar, restaurant, and a pleasant garden. The restaurant offers typical Tuscan and International dishes as well as an exquisite selection of regional wines. There is a private garage and a large outside parking area, which is also suitable for coaches.
