Situated on a 400-yard beach, Barcelo Capella Beach Resort All-Inclusive is located approximately 20 miles from Santo Domingo International Airport. It is also 15 minutes from San Pedro de Macoris and 45 minutes from La Romana and Santo Domingo. Hotel amenities include two dual-level pools with swim-up bars, 15-foot waterslide, two children's pools, kids' club and playground, beach bar, bar in the open-air theater, and bar in the disco, open until 2am. Guests can also enjoy spa services, saunas, onsite shopping, gardens and ponds, a hair salon, and an arcade and game room. For dining, El Batey de la Costa is an open-air restaurant for buffets, El Pescador is a beachfront restaurant, Las Olas specializes in grilled foods (reservations are required for dinner and men are requested to wear long pants and sleeved shirts), Chez Fontaine is a gourmet restaurant (not part of the all-inclusive plan), and room service is available (also not included). The all-inclusive plans covers all meals and snacks, unlimited domestic drinks, volleyball, aerobics, dance lessons, non-motorized water sports equipment, all resort fitness and recreation facilities, all resort activities and entertainment, daytime tennis play, and all taxes and gratuities. All rooms have full bathrooms, bathroom amenities, bathroom telephones, bathrobes, hairdryers, mini-bars, bottled water, coffeemakers, irons, voicemail, dataports, safes, and A/C. Please note: The resort has added two new services to the all-inclusive plan. The two tennis courts and the miniature golf are available during the day absolutely free of charge. Miniature golf is not available at night. The tennis courts are available at night with an extra charge for the flood light. .
