You can canoe from our own riverfront as well as hike or drive up to the nearby Eagles Nest to enjoy a fine panoramic view of the famous Canadian Shield - especially beautiful during the Fall (autumn) colour season. In the winter, cross-country ski at nearby Silent Lake or snowmobile many hundreds of kilometers of trails. Open all year, the Best Western Sword Motor Inn is a great base from which to explore world renowned Algonquin Park and its wildlife. We can suggest days of interesting activities especially during the warmer seasons.
