. Haleiwa town is the mecca of surfing. People from all around the world converge here every winter to ride the biggest and best surfing waves in the world. The summer months May-August are great for swimming and snorkeling this is when the ocean is resting before it prepares for another winter. There are several stunning beaches for sunbathing,yoga,swimming, and watching the sunset. Haleiwa town is also home of Waialua sugar and agriculture. Sugar has been phased out(1994) and the old sugar mill is now home to a soap factory,surfboard manufacturers, and a coffee/chocolate outlet. Check out the farmers markets Sat & Sun for great gifts,food, and mix with the locals.
Accommodations
This Green B&B has recycled tile floors in the bathroom and kitchen. Refinished hardwood floors throughout the house. The sinks are also recycled. There's a composting toilet and an outdoor shower for the adventurous . The permaculture style garden grows food,ornamental plants, and shampoo! This three bedroom two bath house has an indoor and outdoor shower . There's also an indoor bathtub. The hippie style house is on stilts overlooking coconut palms,ponds, and taro with beautiful mountain views.The property is home to an array of edible plants spinach,tapioca,sugarcane,bananas, and more.

Rooms/Suites
Two bedroms are 9x12 one with a twin bed and the other a queen. The masterbedroom is 10x12 with a shower private bath and double futon. There's also a downstairs room with a double futon,couch, a composting toilet, an outdoor shower, and coconut wood floors.
