Our hillside country home is located on 27 acres of private forest and pastureland above Whidbey Island's Useless Bay. Enjoy stunning views of the bay and Puget Sound from our acres of walking trails. Close to Double Bluff Beach, a perfect spot for sunset walks or just relaxing.
Golfing, fishing, antiqueing, seasonal farmer's markets, Bayview Corners & nursery, Rainshadow Gardens, & Whidbey Island Winery nearby. 10 minute drive to Langley's shopping & restaurant area.

Guest rooms are located in private wing of house.
Indoor Tropical Garden Room with large whirlpool includes wide-screeen HDTV with music channels; Refrigerator with complimentary guest beverages and snacks; microwave.
Gazebo and patio area for dining or lounging. Electrical outlets for your laptop are available in the spa room (no laptops in the spa-we want to fire your imagination, not you!) and the gazebo. You may also choose to have your full country breakfast served here, weather permitting.

Sorry we cannot accommodate pets. Our resident cat, "Whiskers" loves company, but does not like to share with other fur-persons.
Our inn is Non-Smoking, inside and out for your health & safety.

How to Find Us

From Bellingham & North: I-5 South to Hwy 20 West, exit #230. Follow signs to Whidbey Island. Continue on Hwy 20 (hwy becomes State Route 525 at Coupeville) through Freeland. We are 3rd driveway on the right past Double Bluff Road (Across from the big red barn)

From Port Townsend-Keystone Ferry: Rt. turn from ferry landing to Hwy 525, turn Rt. and follow above directions through Freeland.

From Seattle & South: I-5 north to Hwy 525 exit #189. Follow signs to Mukilteo-Clinton Ferry. Ferry runs every 30 mins on the half hour. Upon leaving Clinton Ferry Dock, continue on State Route 525 past 3rd stop light at Bayview Road (do not turn). We are approx 7.8 miles from the ferry dock and the 1st driveway on the left past Useless Bay Ave. (Across from the big red barn)

Island Transit, Whidbey's island-wide free busline meets every ferry with a stop at our driveway (known as the "Big Red Barn" stop) Mon-Sat. Sunday buses are provided for special area events such as the Island County Fair. Island Transit is a convenient, enjoyable way to tour the island without parking hassles.
