Surrounding Area

Very close to Mahone Bay and Lunenburg, the hostel is in a great location. There are plenty of hiking trails, beaches, shops and kayak & bike rentals close by. We offer a free pick-up from the bus depot in Mahone Bay & Lunenburg.

Accommodations

There are two attached co-ed bunk rooms: one with six beds (3 sets of bunks) and the other with three beds (1 set of bunks and 1 single bed). Two 3-piece bathrooms upstairs. Downstairs is a small common room, dining room & kitchen, all in one room. The kitchen has a full-size fridge, stove and microwave, and breakfast (serve-yourself continental) is included. The hostel is situated on 2 acres of land with distant ocean views.

Two swirly-blue co-ed dorm rooms, sleeping a total of 9 people.

Amenities

Small playground for children, outdoor aboveground swimming pool, internet available in the main house.

No pets, no smoking please!

Directions

Highway 103 to Exit 10, turn right at the T-junction to Mahone Bay. Pass the 3 churches and the gas station and you will get to another T-junction (has a monument in the middle of the road -- actually is more like a Y-junction, if that's possible!). Turn left there and drive about 3.5kms --- we are number 9466 on your right. The driveway is about 20 metres past the speed limit change from 50 to 70km/h and there is a large blue & white sign and a NZ flat at the foot of the long driveway.

Discounts Offered

Children under 5 $10; children 6 - 16 $15; everyone else is $25 for the first night, $20 for two or more nights. Prices are per person, Canadian funds, and include local taxes.
