Hola, our names are Patricia and Olaf, we are a Costa Rica – German couple and we will help you to get oriented in Costa Rica. In our hostel / guesthouse we speak English, German and Spanish and we know even much of Costa Rica, from the best in car rentals to the best routes to the great surfing waves, to the rainforest or every other place in CR.
Come and enjoy our hostel. We are not at the beach but near to the int. Airport so that we are one off the best places to stay your first and last night in Costa Rica - near to banks, Restaurants, Bus terminals, Internet Cafes in a walkable distance – in Alajuela / Trinidad. But also if you stay a longer time – there are a lot of thinks to do and visit : Volcano Poas, Waterfalls, Coffee Plantation, Zoo ….. and more ! Meet Backpackers and Travelers from around the world and make new friends. Our reception has 24 hour service and our friendly staff will help you. Car and motorbike rental, tourbooking and transfer services all over the country is also avaible. We offer clean single and double rooms – all with priv. bathroom, hot showers and fan.
Our patio with chairs and BBQ is the best quiet and peacefull place to relax – there you will find flowers and birds. - If you want you can use our BBQ with your friends and the other guests. – At night have a drink at our little bar, hear music and talk to other people – look cable tv or play games. If you want to go out, we always know the best places !

Accommodations

On the outside it looks like a colonial house and even has the colors of the old colonial houses.
We have a kitchen for our guests a reading area and a tv room.
There is a beautiful garden next to the eating area and there is a park next door where you can go do excersise.

Rooms/Suites

We offer 8 bedrooms with fan, bathroom with hot water, nice cozy bead with orthopedic mattress. Windows on all the rooms.

Amenities

In the B&B you can enloy of a nice reading area, eating area and tv room. A park next door to enjoy the outside air. We have a computer for you to check your emails.

Services Offered

We offer shuttle from and to the airport, tours to the nearest attractions like the Poas Volcano, ZOOAVE, Butterfly farm, among others.
We offer breakfast to our guests, wake up call, security, parking, laundry, tourism information, spanish lessons in a nice and family enviorment. We also take care of you after operations in the hospitals near us, we'll pick you up and we have qualified personal to take care of you. Or if you have a relative at a hospital nearby or home you can stay with us and we'll take you to visit them.

Restrictions

No pets (especially wild animals), no smoking in the common areas unless there is no one against it. No age, gender or racial descrimination.

Directions

To get to our B&B the address is:
La Trinidad next to La loma park. At the Sunset Hotel (Hotel La Trinidad, old name)
Or get a bus to Alajuela and there get the Plywood bus and tell the driver to stop at the Loma park.
But the best way is just letting us know what time and flight your on and we'll pick you up for just $6. It's the safest and fastest way to get to us.
