Activity/Tour

Guided bird tours in Minnesota's Arrowhead region, near Duluth on the North Shore of Lake Superior. We will bird in a 100 mile radius of the city of Duluth and will see all of the boreal birds, birds of prey, warblers and water fowl.

Typical Day

In the winter season, we meet before dawn to be on location as the sun rises. We will then make our way around the region and travel through the boreal forests of Lake Superior and the North Shore, keeping the sun to our backs as we traverse the area. The day ends at sunset, optimizing the day for your bird watching opportunities.
Summer trips are geared more leisurely, allowing more time to enjoy the long summer days.

Any and all are welcome...families are welcome too.

You stay at any hotel, motel, lodge or campground and we travel day-long and eat at little out of the way local places for the full Northern exposure. Most of the eateries are owned by locals with real home-cooked meals.

Other Information

All expenses and meals are paid by you, including gas if we use my vehicle. I prefer being a passenger in your vehicle, front-seat passenger.
