Indeed one of the best recommended countries for all breathtaking scenery, rugged but majestic mountains, exotic flora, fauna ( mainly endemic mammals, birds, plants) and pristine cultural diversity maintained by perpetual history is undoubtedly Ethiopia.

Located in the northeastern Horn of Africa, equidistant to the equator and the Tropic of Capricorn, Ethiopia is the oldest nation in Africa. Its bedrock belongs to the earth's first continent, a continent known by geologists as Gondwanaland. Africa forms the largest intact remnant of this.

Some Ethiopian peoples residing along the river bank of Omo, such as the Hammer, Mursi, Benna, Karo, Geleb, are clearly tribal and semi-nomadic, while others are more reliant on agriculture. There for during your visit of the Omo Valley you will experience the real and unique cultural beauty of the many ethnic groups of the southern part of Ethiopia.


While you travel to the northern part of Ethiopia, you will be surprised by the spectacular and majestic Semien Mountain (over 4500 meter above sea level) in addition to the incrediably excavated Rock Hewn Churches of Lalibela (12th century), the Stele of Axum, Castles of Gondar and the breathtaking Blue Nile Falls. Typical Day

Ethiopia can visited any time of the year as it provides you with 13 months of sunshine or any kind of weather you like. It depends on the region that you want to visit and/or the activities you want to join. If you wish to experience the major feastivals we recomend September, November, January and April. For trekking from October to April. Particularly, October to December is best!

Age range, type of group

We do handle all type of group with various size. We recommend phsicaly average for trekking (not children). We can't arrange tours for phsically disabled people.

Groups can be family, couples, singles, youth, students and Seniors.

Sleeping and meals

We use best available hotels for historical tours. But for trekking, remote areas of the Omo Valley we have standard mobile camping equippments (tents, chairs, tables, mattress, sheets, sleeping bags, shower bags, cooking utensles, etc. We do arrange campfires while camping with the local cultural dances.
