Algonquin park is 10 minutes away. Barry's Bay is a very close drive from Madawaska

Accommodations

2 outside bunkies with two bunk beds setup and electricity, Lots of room for tents and over 15 beds inside the basecamp. Kitchen, bathrooms, living room, dining room, tv, vcr, record player, inclosed porch, campfire

Rooms/Suites

Room are setup up with bunkbeds, bunkie is a little more secluded (has 2 bunkbeds available. Camping out in a tent behind madawaska is very common.

Amenities

Black Bear lounge is a popular place amongst the travellers coming to madawaska basecamp. You can get outfitted for a night in Algonquin park or go canoeing on the madawaska river to a beautiful waterfall. Hiking along the trails is a fun way to spend a beautiful day outside.

Breakfast is made every morning consisting of pancakes, eggs, cereal, juice, coffee and tea.
