Pousada Sítio Dos Tucanos

The Pousada Sítio dos Tucanos is the first ecological inn in Santa Catarina. It is located in the most magnificent and well-preserved region in south Brazil.

We are on the south side of the Island Santa Catarina, 30 km from downtown Florianópolis. This part of the island is well known because it is offers an ecological tourism experience with it's beautiful scenery and activities; such as Lagoinha de Leste (municipal natural park), trekking through vast rain forests, birdwatching, whalewatching (July - October).

The Pousada is open all year and guests are received with affectionate attention by the owner, Gerta May.

We speak German, English and Portuguese.

Directions

From the airport it's a little bit dificult to go by bus. Better to call and we offer the transfer to the Pousada.

Arriving by bus on the rodoviária (the interprovincial busstation)
go to the urbanbusterminal - 5 min. from the rodoviária - and take a bus direction Sul da Ilha - bus Nr. 410, Rio Tavares, direto - There
take the bus Nr.563 Costa de Dentro - until the last busstop. There make a collectcall to the Pousada - and somebody will take you. The distance to the pousada is 600m from the last bus stop.
