We our located in the suburb of La Uruca, west of San Jose, just ten minutes to the airport and ten minutes to downtown. We take great pride as being the best small, budget hotel in San Jose, providing personal support for you travels. If you have been traveling, let us do your laundry and cook you a meal or two. Our rates include breakfast for free.

If you need to use the Internet, you can use our computer on a cable-based modem to catch up with your e-mail any time you want free of charge. There is a small shopping center just two blocks away that includes, banks, Office Depot, restaurants, and a supermarket.


If you are driving, we have locked, secure parking. If you are just arriving in Costa Rica, our van can meet you at the airport or bus station.

Having trouble with your Spanish? Lilliana, the owner, is schooled in English and can take you into her classroom at the Hotel… better known as the Kalexma Language Institute.

We offer a 10% discount if you stay for three or more nights.

Near Juan Paul II Bridge, La Uruca, just outside San José.
10 minutes from SJO International Airport, 10 minutes from San José city center.

Just across the highway from the Best Western Irazu Hotel.

We will send our van to collect you at the airport for $15. The driver will hold a sign with your name and the name HOTEL KALEXMA. Just look for him/her at the exit of the airport.
