Mallard's Nest

Mallard's Nest Guesthouse is located on the Nottawasaga River just five minutes walk to the famous Wasaga Beach, long hailed as one of the premier tourist destinations in Ontario. Mallard's Nest Guesthouse is situated in a fisherman's paradise!

The guesthouse has three guest rooms. Two rooms have a shared bathroom and one room has an en-suite bathroom. All rooms have a queen size bed and one of these has a very comfortable double size futon. All linen and bath towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels.

Guests are welcome to use the common room that features a computer with Internet access, cable television, a fridge and a coffee maker. In the evening you can sit out on the deck and enjoy the night sky, or relax in the common area and watch television, read a book or check your email.


Cooked breakfasts are included in the room rate. Guests can sit out on the covered deck and dine on your hot buffet breakfast while watching for the wildlife on the river.

Taxes are included in pricing. Check in times are after 3:00 unless otherwise agreed upon.

Directions

From Toronto by car:
Take Highway 400 north for 79.3 km to exit #98. Take Highway26/Highway27, towards Stayner/Wasaga Beach. Travel along here for 6 km then turn a slight left onto Provincial Route 26. Go 25 km until you reach Country Road 10/Sunnidale Rd. Turn right and drive for 3.9 km. Turn right on Mosley St, go 0.6 km. Turn right on 31st St S, there is a Patriot Gas sation on the north corner. We are number 23.


Wasaga Beach is approximately 1 1/2 hour drive north of Toronto. Greyhound Canada (www.greyhound.ca) has two trips daily from Toronto International Airport or downtown Toronto. Arrangements can be made for pick up from the bus stop in Wasaga.
