We are completely independent and live and breathe Fraser Island everyday so when you are staying with us we can make sure that you get the trip that's best for you - whale watching in season (August - early November) as well! The following are FREE for all guests; linen, BBQ, tea and coffee, forward bus and hostel bookings, courtesy pick up on request from the transit centre (7:00 am - 7:00pm only outside of these hours please contact us directly before making a reservation 1800 244 107).book exchange, tour bookings, cool sea breezes and oceans views from the back balcony! Directions

We pick up and drop off from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm (approx) outside of those hours you are usually able to check in but please contact us directly before making a booking 1800 244 107. Please advise us in advance what time your bus arrives or we may not have someone immediately available to pick you up.

By plane: The airport shuttle costs just $8.00 per person and will drop you off at the door. No need to book ahead.

Coming by car:
Follow the signs into Hervey Bay from the Bruce Highway. As you travel along Boat Harbour Drive into the main part of Hervey Bay, you will see Pizza Hut and McDonald's on your right. Go straight through the roundabout just past these and straight through the next set of traffic lights. As you go up the next hill you will see Queen's Road signposted on your left - turn left. Go down the hill to the first stop sign (you will have the police station to your right and Golden Chicken to your left) Turn Right - this is Torquay Road, but there is no street sign at this intersection. The Friendly is about 500 metres up on your left.
