Caye Caulker is a lovely Caribbean Island off the beaten track. It's motto of "go slow" is fitting. We have no automobiles and the atmosphere is laid back. Every watersport is available, including some of the best diving in the world. The island features excellent restaurants and enough shops to never have to leave!

Accommodations

Barefoot Beach Belize Resort is located on the quiet South side of the island on one of the best stretches of beach available. We have only 6 rooms/cottages on the property so it's never overcrowded and impersonal. The hotel has all the modern conveniences of hot water, a/c, cable t.v., and true comfort. We've paid attention to the details not normally found in Belize. Our tropically decorated rooms/cottages are very inviting, and our staff is friendly and informative. Rooms/Suites

Our regular rooms all have cable t.v, a/c, comfortable beds (in queen or king sizes), private baths with hot water, coffeemakers, sitting areas, fridges, and ceiling fans. Our suite, cabana, and cottage have all those comforts along with the addition of equipped kitchens, private bedrooms and livingrooms. The Oceana Cottage and Oceanfront suite have fabulous unobstructed views of the waterfront.

Amenities

Our sunning deck and Tiki with hammocks to lounge in are the envy of the island. The beach is swimmable with a ladder at the end of the dock. Internet access is on the way! Each room/cottage has it's own private deck or patio with chairs.

Directions

From the main water taxi on Caye Caulker go South on the beachfront for 4 minutes to us. Or you can go straight ahead 1 street, turn left to the dead end, turn right to the first street to the left and go left to us.
