ZULYS is a place for all people - NOT only 20-year olds - who are travelling on a budget. Our idea is to provide cheap and affordable accomodation in a 100% safe and centric neighborhood. We are located just a few steps from such prestigious Hotels like Marriott and Continental in the El Cangrejo/ Banking district. Right in the City Center of vibrating Panama City and close to everything a traveller might need.

On Hostelworld you can book the following rooms/beds:

DORM BEDS:
1. dorm bed in fancooled room with 4 beds = $8.80
2. dorm bed in airconditioned room with 5 beds = $9.90

PRIVATE ROOMS:
1. Fan cooled SINGLE ROOM = $18
2. Airconditioned DOUBLE ROOM = $13 per person


Please note: Even when the online- booking-system says that we are full, it is very likely that we have space left as we want to keep several beds for walk-in guests or people who are booking directly with us. Apart from rooms offered on Hostelworld we have rooms for 2 people and rooms for groups of 3 to 5 people.

-zulysbackpackers.com-From Albrook bus terminal take a taxi (price $1,75/additional person $0,25) and tell the driver to bring you to Calle Ricardo Arias. Then tell him that this is the street between Hotel Continental and Hotel Marriott. We are located at the end of the dead end street which starts opossite of RESTAURANTE COSTA AZUL. OUR Hostel is a 4 storey building with a huge space right in front!
Please insist that driver brings you to our place as they tend bringing people to places where they get commision! So don't believe them when they tell you that we are located in a bad neigbourhood-we are actually located in the safest neigbourhood in the whole of Central america!!!

At Tocumen international Airport (25km from Hostel) you have 3 different options to get a Taxi.
1. Take an Airport Taxi on the arrival level for $30
2. Take a Taxi Colectivo on the arrival level for $15
3. Go upstairs to the departure level and take a normal City Taxi for $20!

IMPORTANT:
In any of these cases negogiate the price BEFORE you get into the taxi!!!

For daredevils there is even a much cheaper way (25 cents!!!) to get to our hostel. There is a busstop about 350 meters from the airport. There you can take any bus that says VIA ESPAÑA. Tell the driver to let you off at Hotel Continental in Via España. Go to the main entrance of the Hotel and you are already in our street. From there it is only 100 more meters to our Hostel! Remember that this option is only recomendable until 8 p.m. and if you Do not have Big Luggage!!!
