Description of Active Adventure

All of Huck Finn activities/trips are soft adventure experiences designed for beginners and do not require more than average physical fitness. We operate only in safe, well preserved, most attractive and exciting (but often unknown) areas characterized by natural beauty, traditional way of life and hospitality. Valuable art and history places of interest are visited wherever available and our guides pass their enthusiasm and passion for outdoor activities to our clients for most enjoyment for all. Croatia has pleasant climate and we do not run trips in cold or stormy conditions.

We make sure that you get to the trip starting point in a simple, fast and comfortable way. Your guides will provide the right equipment, information and basic instruction before starting paddling, biking or walking in clear, warm waters or green landscape. You will actively participate in traveling through beautiful scenery, enjoy, meet new friends and experience a very different environment than you are used to. There will be stops to rest, relax, swim, snorkel, make photos and eat during and after the trip in a pleasant atmosphere. On multi-day trips the guides make sure the friendly atmosphere lasts through the evening in places with good music and entertainment or quiet, romantic spots.

Age range, type of group

Children under 14 are welcome if accompanied by adults. Senior outdoor enthusiasts of average health and physical shape are welcome and have no problems on our trips.

Sleeping and meals

Huck Finn provides accommodation and meals on most trips. We avoid everything big - towns, camps, hotels or restaurants. We like small, traditional places with atmosphere and friendly local hosts. We prefer wood, natural stone, lanterns, campfire, local food, guitars, sunsets, meadows and beaches to concrete, pavement, motors, metal, artificial food, electric lightshows and techno in everything. We feel there is enough high tech around us in everyday life; an adventure trip or vacation should be different. With possibility to check one's emails now and then of course.

Restrictions

Not many pets would enjoy our activities and they might spoil the fun of their owners. Dogs might go crazy when they spot a rabbit or deer.Smoking is allowed only in places where it does not affect others.
