I have a wonderful stay in Taiwanmex as it worth the price I paid. Superb location - very near to Zhong Shan Mrt station, Superb facilities (All facilities shared among all but wonderful arrangment), Superb incharge - Magos. She always the best person to refer and top check on informations plus directions. Helpful and kind plus friendly. Me and my friends stayed for 7 nights and we definately wanted to stay again and again. I strongly recommended this guest house for everyone visiting Taiwan. Eventhough it's not a hotel but it worth to stay - Give it a try and you will love it.

Description of Surrounding Area

Located in the heart of the magic of Taipei.The Hostel is located next to the ZhongShan underground train stop. We have made sure our location is within walking distance of the Main Station as we know that People don't want to worry about navigating an unfamillar bus or subway system when they first arrive.So when you arrive at Taipei Main Station please call us and we will meet you at Zhongshan MRT Station and Bring you back to Taiwanmex. We wanted to locate our guest house in a quiet and safe area because we know that peace and quiet is most important things for guests to sleep and safety is an absolute necessity for an enjoyable stay. You are comming to one of the most exciting shopping and nightlife districts in Taipei with every opportunity to easily and conveniently walk from our guest house to, for example: a minute to Zhongshan Underground Shopping Mall or a minute to Taipei Art Museums or a minute to the Department Store Mitsukoshi....We are located 30 second walk on the same street as the Famous IDEE' Department Stores (2 separate ones across from each other). Description of Rooms/Suites

We have two building, for the most budget friends. Our Taiwanmex's places are small & simple , but have complete equipment to make you feel like at home.
The first hostel is located on the 2nd Floor. It has bunk share rooms, two share bathrooms, calm and peacefull cause the rooms do not have windows.

The other one is located on the 9th Floor, one minute walk from the first building. It has Private Single room, triple beds room, four beds room and six beds room. All have nice view of the city, such as the 101 tower, the Mitsukoshi tower, or even the Taipei Main Station ... and Large openning balcony, three showers booth and two toilets, and the security is controled by a cutee cat.
We are always available to answer your questions and we love to talk to you and help you have a great time in Taipei. We are the most modest (no, really) coolest, kindest, most friendly, smartest, funniest, and helpful people you will be able to rent a room from in all of Taipei. ----Directions from Airport to Taiwanmex Hostel----After you leave the passport check.1. Walk to the left to the bus desk.2. Choose "KwoKuang Motor Transport Company Ltd" Buy a ticket to the Taipei Main Station. Cost is about 125 Taiwan Dollars or about 4 dollar U.S. (The station is for above ground and below ground trains, inside the station is also the Subway or Metro. MRT )3. You stay on bus till the end or when it stops at the Taipei Main Station.When you arrive at Taipei Main Station please call us and we will meet you at Zhongshan MRT Station and Bring you back to Taiwanmex.4. Board the Subway ( Red Line ) going to ZhongShan EXIT NUMBER ONE.5. Leave when you get to the ZhongShan Exit number one. You will see it written in English.6. Leave the ZhongShan station.at your left side is Taipei Milk King and Look in front of you, there will be a Starbucks Coffee Shop. Look at it, then turn around 180 degrees or opposite and walk the opposite direction of Starbucks.7. You are now on street NAMED: Lane Nanjing W.
