
It is a rather small B&B, located on the ground floor of an ancient building of beginning of XX century, in the near surroundings of Florence hearth.
Close to the main train station and to the two expo and trade fairs of Fortezza da Basso and ex Stazione Leopolda, from 'Soggiorno Madrid' you can easily reach the most important museums and the main historical and artistic monuments of Florence, on foot or by bus (the Dome is just 15/20 minutes on foot).

Directions
- on foot from main railway-station Firenze S.M.N.-
from the train plattform to the big station-hall - go to the right exit - go down the stairs and turn to right - straight on, you enter Via Luigi Alamanni - at 1st traffic lamp cross the avenue (Viale Fratelli Rosselli) and go on - you are in Via Guido Monaco - go on until nearly the end and cross the street - at the end there is a big avenue (Viale Belfiore) in front of you - keep the right for about 20 mt. and you will find a traffic lamp - in front of you there is a crossing and just in the middle there is a tree -
behind it you will be able to see Soggiorno Madrid door, at the opposite side of crossing - follow the indication to cross the avenues with traffic lamps.

from the train plattform to the big station-hall - go to the left exit - cross the street - to the bus stop take bus nr. 23 (Fortezza da Basso direction) - just after driveing under a train bridge ring the bus bell - you are in Viale Francesco Redi - walk back about 20 meters and cross the street - at nr.1 there is Soggiorno Madrid.

Firenze Nord exit - direction city centre - always straight and you will enter the Viale Guidoni - drive on untill the end (new university pole, where on your right side there are red buildings) - keep your right and at traffic lamp turn to via Forlanini - drive till the end (there is a roundabout) - turn around and drive till traffic lamp - drive straight on (you are already in viale F, Redi) - at the end (after several traffic lamps) there is Soggiorno Madrid / Viale Francesco Redi nr. 1.
