Accommodations

Nestled in the valley between two mountain ranges lies an elegant Greek revival farmhouse with magnificent Gothic barn, both on the National Register of Historic Places. Surrounded by ancient trees, pastoral meadows and glorious mountains, the farm looks much as it has for the past 150 years. Inside, the charm of the past is carefully coupled with the comforts of the present by offering private baths, personal bathrobes, air-conditioning, gas fireplaces, specialty toiletries and luxurious bed linens. Breakfast is a sumptuous affair by candlelight in the gracious dining room. Guests enjoy the cozy library, the elegant Victorian parlor, and the broad side porch.

Rooms/Suites

There are 5 guestrooms in the main house, each with private bath and gas fireplace. Four of the rooms have elegant canopy beds and the fifth has a massive sleigh bed. The period furnishings and plank floors give the feeling of being transported back in time. There are 2 secluded luxury cottages which were once antique post and beam farm buildings . Both have king beds, kitchenettes, dining areas, sitting areas, and whirlpool or air-jet tubs, private decks, satellite TV, and DVD players. The Milkhouse Cottage is 700 square feet and The Nest is 800 square feet.

Services Offered

Our antique limousine is offered as part of our romantic getaway package or elopement special. Feel like a prince and princess when you arrive at the restaurant in a chauffeur-driven 1939 Cadillac limousine.

Restrictions

We are a smoke-free facility. Children 12 and over are welcome in the main house and children of all ages are welcome in the cottages. Sorry, Maggie, Cleo, and Suzy say no other pets allowed.
