Laranjeiras is most traditional place in the city. It is close to the centre (10 min) and Copacabana beach (15 min). Near the house there are some excellent restaurants, an internet café and 24 hour shops.

Robby’s House has 3 rooms, and can sleep seven people. There are five single beds and one double. Facilities include a washing machine, laundry facilities, TV, DVD, Portuguese lessons, a tourist guide, etc. The bus stop and metro for all places are close by.

The owners, Robson is the guide from (MINISTRY OF TOURISM) you need to bring with you to see the Christ of Corcovado, the 'Pão de Açucar', the Maracanã Stadium, but also to learn and practice the bases of Brazilian Portuguese, to discover the best places to enjoy the nights of the Wonderful City, and to visit locations not on your road map: from the bohemian neighbourhood of Lapa, to the wealthy Barra da Tijuca and the traditional samba schools.


It is an opportunity to meet more and more Brazilians in order to really experience the genuine local lifestyle.

We are located in Laranjeiras, a district between Flamengo and Catete. You can reach us by bus or taxi.

From the international airport (Tom Jobim)
By Taxi: 20 minutes and should cost around R$ 35 reais (US$ 14).

Airport Transfer: We offer an Airport Transfer for R$ 60 reais for 1 person or R$ 70 reais for 2 persons

From the central bus station (Rodoviária)
By bus: Take 126 bus (15 minutes and R$1,90) and step out in front of Fluminense Soccer Club.
By Taxi: 10 minutes and around R$ 20,00
