Proof of International Travel is having any foreign identification document (visa, license, etc.) or international travel tickets approved by the management.
AMERICAN TRAVELERS must have either: Recent VISAS or re-entry documents or recent INTERNATIONAL I.D. or Hostel MEMBERSHIP in any Hostel Organization such as HA, HI, PHN, AYH, VIP), or STUDENTS with outside of San Diego County I.D., and EDUCATORS (with proper credentials), or international travel TICKETS (in their name) as recent as six months (Canadian travelers - drivers license) in order to stay with us.

Local Mexico trips to Tijuana, Rosarito, and Ensenada are not accepted as 'International Travel'
Directions
From Greyhound: Exit station onto Broadway and turn left (East), walk 4 blocks until you come to 5th Avenue, turn right (South) and walk 2 1/2 blocks down 5th Avenue. You will see a row of international flags hanging from our building. Our front door is between two Italian restaurants.
From Amtrak: Exit station onto Kettner Boulevard and turn right (South). At Broadway (1/2 block) turn left (East) and follow above directions.
Driving:
From I-5 South take Front Street exit. Exit ramp divides, keep right on Front Street ramp. Take Front street to G Street, turn left onto G. Take G six blocks to 5th Avenue, turn left onto 5th, we are the third door in from the corner - between two Italian restaurants.
From I-5 North take J Street exit. Bear left at 19th Street and turn left onto Market Street. Take Market 14 blocks to 5th Avenue. Turn right onto 5th, the hostel is one block up on the right hand side, between two Italian restaurants.
