Surrounding Area

Largest Barrier reef system in Northern Hemisphere sits in the waters surrounding Cozumel, hence lots of scuba diving, snorkeling and water sports. The IMPRESSIVE Mayan ruins are all near by and organized tours to such are available. Water parks such as wet -n- wild, Xcaret or Xel-Ha are also near by. On the island we have Discover Mexico park, our Chankanaab Lagoon-National park with a dolphin swim program, Parque Sur a nature park and the ruins of San Gervacio, dedicated to the Mayan goddess of fertility, Xchell. This is tropical Mexico.. a Caribbean island with Mexican taste....

Set behind high privacy wall in a large tropical fruit garden just 5 city blocks from the turquoise Caribbean, Amigo’s B&B cottage style rooms each have private bathroom with pressurized water system, complete kitchenette, AC, ceiling fans, clock radio alarms, CD-cassette players, nightlights and choice of king or single beds. Each room has a terrace with hammock. The communal palapa is where your daily breakfast is served. Here too you will find a TV with local cable, VCR, DVD player and CD stereo system, movies, books, games and magazines. The large free form swimming pool is refreshing after a day visiting the Mayan ruins or snorkeling or diving the Meso American reef, the second largest barrier reef system in the world which surrounds the island of Cozumel.High speed internet is available, so bring your laptop if you wish.., Families and groups are welcome. Scuba diving trips and excursions to the major Mayan ruins are available from your Amigo’s staff.

Calle 7 Sur between Ave 25 & 30 in Centro, main part of town. Taxi from main pier to hosue or airport van service from Cozumel van to house. If renting car, go to Ave 30, make turn heading WEST on Calle 7 sur and house is on right side of street, mid way and is yellow with green trim. # 571. Pull the dog leash- bell cord.
