Hotel des Alpes enjoys a favoured location away from the road traffic and next to Lake Lucerne and the Reuss River with a fantastic view of the Alps. It is just 3 minutes walk from the railroad terminal on the edge of the picturesque old part of the city with its many shopping opportunities.

Our rooms are stylishly decorated and fully equipped and some have balconies.

Our excellent restaurant offers the finest cuisine with meat and fish specialties. We also have a special menu for kids. Enjoy the romantic setting of our other restaurant with a balcony terrasse and a view over the lake.

In a perfect setting by the shores of Lake Lucerne, flanked by Mount Rigi and Mount Pilatus, this beautiful city remains one of the most popular tourist attractions in Switzerland. There is also a city tax of 1.75CHF that must be paid when the guest arrives at the hotel and this is on top of the balance due to be paid for the booking.

Directions

The hotel is located just 3minutes from the railway station.
Highway exit from the south, Luzern-Sud, exit from the north, Luzern-Centrum. By car you need to drive to the hotel via Kapellplatz.
Parking: We recommend the railway-station carpark, 5min walking distance away the hotel.
